A one-day initiative to provide integral career resources and build a long-term network of support and guidance for youth. Was created based on feedback from past interns. P4L objectives include, developing the capacity of young Canadians to advance in their career, to increase the networks of young Canadians, and to learn what works and what doesn't in career advancement from peers.

The forum aims to explore the transformative potential of global partnerships in the realms of educational and professional development, as well as their significance in fostering economic empowerment and gender equity.

Pathways to Success in Canada

Mark the date of Saturday July 10, 2021 down on your calendars for CAABWA's annual Partners for Leadership Forum. The event will be held on zoom from 10 am to 12 pm EST and it will be free to register. This year’s topic is the Pathways to Success in Canada and the forum will discuss how newcomers to Canada, including international students, gain work experience and develop their careers.

We are excited to introduce our guest speakers/panelists for the 2021 Partners for Leadership Forum! Vathsala Illesinghe, May-Marie Duwai-Sowa, and Jamohl Rutherford are all incredibly successful individuals who were once newcomers to Canada! Join us at the Partners for Leadership Forum on Saturday, July 10th, 2021, 10 am -12 pm EST to hear about the paths the panelists took to achieve success.

 

2020 Partners for Leadership Forum

The Canadian and African Business Women’s Alliance (CAABWA) together with its Summer Interns and Alumni invite you to attend our third annual Partners For Leadership Forum. This year's theme is centred around Open Discussions: Addressing Systemic Racism in Professional Spaces. The event will include a panel discussion and opportunities to network within breakout rooms. In this forum we will be creating a space fostering dialogue, sharing experiences, and engaging in discussing versatile solutions in addressing the issues that Black professionals face.
